Confined space entry/escape BA (Breathing Apparatus)
During the course, delegates will be trained to perform correct procedures before, during and after work in a confined spaces. Delegates will also be briefed on the relevant rules for checking that gas and oxygen levels are suitable for access to a confined spaces and what measures to take in the event of an emergency while working in confined spaces. During the course, delegates will also be trained in the proper preparation, testing and use of breathing apparatus and rescue kits. The course is both theoretical and practical, during which delegates will be required to demonstrate their level of knowledge and understanding of the content of the curriculum.

PRACTICAL TRAINING
• Use of personal protective equipment
• Inspection of tools and equipment
• Entrance to enclosed spaces (horizontal and vertical)
• Use self-contained breathing apparatus
• Use of respirators
• Communicate in a variety of ways while working confined spaces
• Perform a gas measurement test
• Use of different types of self-contained breathing apparatus
• Emergency procedures when working confined spaces
• Exit the smoke-filled room with a respirator
