Scaffolding is a temporary structure that provides access and secure work platforms to make it easier to work at height, as well as store a limited amount of materials and tools. Scaffolding has a variety of applications. They are used in industrial, construction, conversion, routine maintenance and renovation activities. The use of scaffolding ensures safer and more comfortable working conditions compared to conventional working methods such as ladders. Properly built and maintained scaffolding provides workers with safe access to workplaces, level and stable work platforms and temporary workplaces. Scaffolding is also used to hold tools and materials.
As accidents involving scaffolding often lead to serious injuries, we, the Baltijos Mokymo Centras, during the training, we provide guidelines and the necessary training to ensure the safety of employees. This scaffolding training course provides learners with knowledge on how to build, modify, and dismantle a variety of scaffolding used in a variety of industries. More attention is paid to the safe use of scaffolding and the importance of ensuring the structural integrity of the scaffolding. The potential hazards of working confined spaces are also discussed and safety precautions are taught on how to reduce them.
The aim of this program is to prepare an employee who is able to plan and organize the installation, modification and dismantling of scaffolding structures of various complexity, adapting them to workplace standards in the fields of energy, gas, oil, chemistry, logistics and the city.
